SUPJOBS offers an online job matching service that connects prospective employees with employers in the startup process through a simple and non-binding interview request process and offers an array of free tools available for startups.

SUPJOBS registers and uses information about you (personal data).

SUPJOBS  will not disclose your information to others without your explicit consent except as explicitly set out below.

SUPJOBS protects your data and privacy by taking all relevant measures in accordance with applicable legislation, especially the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”).

This privacy notice sets out the basis for how we look after your personal data and the privacy rights you are granted by law.

Why do we register and use your personal data?

We register your data as an intermediary in order for you to be able to seek (employees) job opportunities or receive (companies) job applications in connection with management and development  of startup companies and for being able to provide you with tools you may use in your management of start-ups.

SUPJOBS also uses the information for administrative purposes and to improve the Services SUPJOBS now has and will provide in the future. SUPJOBS may furthermore use information about your input and use of SUPJOBS for targeted improvement of SUPJOBS’s’s services. Finally, SUPJOBS may use your data for statistical purposes.

When do we register and use your personal data?

We register your personal data when you provide it to SUPJOBS.

This means that we register and use personal data when

  • you have made or you are considering making an agreement with us to make use of a service or product we provide based on article 6(1)(b) of GDPR
  • you have granted us consent to use your personal data for a specific purpose based on article 6(1)(a) of GDPR
  • You have granted us consent to use your sensitive personal data for a specific purpose based on article 9(2)(a) of GDPR
  • it is our legal duty to do
  • it is necessary to pursue a legitimate interest of SUPJOBS pursuant to article 6(1)(f) of GDPR. For example, this may be to prevent abuse and loss, to strengthen our IT-solution. We will only do so if our interest clearly outweighs your interest in not having your personal data processed by us.

Which personal data do we register and use?

When you create a user profile at SUPJOBS, SUPJOBS will request a variety of information from you, including your name, email address and address. SUPJOBS uses this information to make the services available to you. You may always ask SUPJOBS to inform you of which information SUPJOBS has registered about you. You may also at any time demand that SUPJOBS deletes information registered about you. If it turns out that SUPJOBS’s’s information about you is incorrect, you may edit the information in your profile and the information you have entered into the SUPJOBS. If SUPJOBS has information that you cannot correct, SUPJOBS will correct it for you. SUPJOBS shall simultaneously notify any recipient of this information if we have transferred such information to others with your consent. See more on your rights below

Depending on the services or products are interested in, we register and use different kinds of personal data, including

  • basic personal data, e.g. your name, contact information and national ID (employees and companies)
  • data from your Linked In profile
  • details about the services and products we provide to you, how you use them and your preferences towards them
  • we register your CVs
  • we may also register other personal data if needed to provide you with specific products or services or we are required by law to do so.

Sensitive data

Please note that we may register sensitive data about you (employees), if your CVs or resumes contain sensitive personal data, in order to carry out a light screening as part of SUPJOBS’s recruitment service.

How long do we register and use your personal data?

We keep your data only for as long as it is needed for the purpose for which your data were registered and used.

If you have not accessed SUPJOBS for a period of 2 years we may delete your data. 

Third parties and your personal data

Personal data from third parties

We some times use and register data from public available sources for compliance purposes.

Third parties that we share your personal data with

In some instances, we may share and disclose personal data with ActiveCampaign, Facebook, Google Ads, Google Analytics, HubSpot, LinkedIn, Mailchimp, Mandrill, MixPanel, Unbounce, Zapier in order to send information to our users in a coordinated way.

We cooperate with partners and other recruiters on a strategic level. Thus, they may in some instances receive personal data in this connection.

Profiling and automated decisions

Profiling

Profiling is a form of automated processing of your personal data. We use profiling e.g. to be able to offer you specific services and products that meet your preferences.

Automated decision-making

We do not use automated decision-making in SUPJOBS.

Your rights

Insight into your personal data

You can obtain insight into the personal data we registered and use, where it comes from and what we use it for. You can obtain information about for how long we store your data and about who receives data about you. Your right of access may, however, be restricted by legislation, protection of other persons’ privacy and consideration for our business and practices. Our know-how, business secrets as well as internal assessments and material may also be exempt from the right of insight.

Correction or erasure of your personal data in SUPJOBS

If the data is incorrect, incomplete or irrelevant, you are entitled to have the data corrected or erased. These rights are known as the “right to rectification”, “right to erasure” or “right to be forgotten” and SUPJOBS provide you with the means to retify or delete your data.

Restriction of use

If you believe that the data we have registered about you is incorrect, or if you have objected to the use of the data, you may demand that we restrict the use of this data to storage. Use will only be restricted to storage until the correctness of the data can be established, or it can be checked whether our legitimate interests outweigh your interests.

If you are entitled to have the data we have registered about you erased, you may instead request us to restrict the use of these data to storage. If we need to use the data we have registered about you solely to assert a legal claim, you may also demand that other use of these data be restricted to storage. We may, however, be entitled to other use to assert a legal claim or if you have granted your consent to this.

Withdrawal of a consent

You can withdraw a consent you may have given at any given time. For withdrawal of consent please see contact information below. Please note that if you withdraw your consent, we may not be able to offer you specific services or products. If you withdraw consent, this will not affect the legitimacy of our processing of your personal data based on your previously given consent and up until the time of withdrawal. Withdrawal of your consent will only become effective from the time of withdrawal.

You have a right to receive the copy of the data you have provided in an electronic machine-readable format.

Statistics – Google Analytics:

SUPJOBS uses the analytic tool Google Analytics to gather and assess information about how visitors use the web site. Google Analytics uses cookies. As data processor, SUPJOBS decides what information Google it can gather regarding the use of the web site. Google Analytics only receives general web statistics, like for example type of browser, language and which web site the user came from.

The users IP address will be registered by SUPJOBS. We add a script that removes the last digits from the users IP address before the information is stored by Google Analytics. This makes it possible for the analytic tool to estimate the user’s geographical location, but the address cannot be used to identify the user. Received information are regulated by Googles guidelines for processing of personal data in the country that the log in to SUPJOBS is made from.

Welcome to SUPJOBS platform (the “Platform”).

By accessing, browsing or using this Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (the “Terms”) as well as the Privacy Notice which sets out the way we manage your personal data (the “Privacy Notice”). If you do not agree to these Terms and the Privacy Notice, you should not use or access this Platform. SUPJOBS reserves the right to revise these Terms at any time by updating this posting. You are encouraged to review these Terms frequently because your use of the Platform after the posting of changes will constitute your acceptance of the changes. When changes are done to the Terms or the Privacy Notice we will send a notice to you of this at your next login to the platform. We grant you a personal, limited, non-transferable non-exclusive, license to access and use the Platform. The Job Matching Service

Terms for Prospective Employees

SUPJOBS offers an online service that connects prospective employees with employers through a simple and non-binding interview request process. As a prospective employee, you have an opportunity to find a position with an employer using this service. Additionally, your use of SUPJOBS is free, and the interview request process does not create any contractual obligations between the employer and you as a prospective employee. The Platform only acts as a tool for prospective employees to explore opportunities without obligations.

The use of the Platform is free for prospective employees. When you use the Job Matching Service, we may require you to provide us information such as your name, phone number and e-mail address at some stage. We may also require information from your LinkedIn profile. We will review the information that you provide to us during the registration process and we may review any other information about you that is publicly available. By applying for a position you agrees to that we will store your name, phone number, e-mail address and url-link to your linkedIn profile and that we will share this with the company that you are applying for a position with. You also agree to that we (SUPJOBS) and the company (where you have applied for a positon) may store your information for two years, and that the company may contact you for similar positions in this time period. You can get your information deleted within the two year period by both SUPJOBS and the prospective employer by contacting SUPJOBS and the prospective employer.

Importing information from your LinkedIn profile does not represent any affiliation between SUPJOBS or the Platform and LinkedIn. SUPJOBS does not store your login username and password from LinkedIn or of any other third party service. Specifically, SUPJOBS does not store your LinkedIn username and password if you entered them into the LinkedIn web login page within the SUPJOBS Platform on its servers; it only stores the information you enter in to your application; name, e-mail address, phone number and url-link to LinkedIn profile.  You may have the ability to import data from other third-party entities into the Platform, and through your use of the Platform, you confirm that you voluntarily provide your information to the Platform by your own free choice. Please note that each third party web-Platform linked from the Platform has its own terms and conditions which will apply to you and are separate from these Terms. SUPJOBS will not share any of this information with any other 3rd party without your express consent or request.

For Employers

As an employer, you have the opportunity to advertise for qualified talent and reduce the costs involved with hiring and retaining talent using the service. You may arrange interviews with any prospective employees that have shown interest in the job add on SUPJOBS and which you feel may be a fit for your company. However, these requests are non-binding and do not create a binding employment contract. You may store information about prospective employees for two years and you may contact the prospective employees for similar positions in this time period. You agree to delete the information about the prospective employee two years after receiving the application from the prospective employee or when the prospective employee asks you to delete it.

SUPJOBS only provides you with information provided by the prospective employees including reference to the prospective employees’ LinkedIn profiles.

YOU UNDERSTAND THAT SUPJOBS DOES NOT INQUIRE INTO THE BACKGROUNDS OF ITS USERS OR ATTEMPT TO VERIFY THE STATEMENTS OF ITS USERS (ALTHOUGH IT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CONDUCT ANY BACKGROUND CHECK OR OTHER SCREENINGS AT ANY TIME USING AVAILABLE PUBLIC RECORDS), AND THAT YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR (1) CONDUCTING ANY BACKGROUND CHECKS, REFERENCE CHECKS, OR OTHER DUE DILIGENCE THAT YOU MAY REQUIRE BEFORE MAKING AN OFFER OF EMPLOYMENT TO A PROSPECTIVE EMPLOYEE, AND (2) COMPLYING WITH ALL LAWS AND REGULATIONS RELATING TO THE INTENDED EMPLOYMENT OF ANY PROSPECTIVE EMPLOYEE.

Except for any log-in data which we may require from time to time, the use of which is regulated below, we do not keep any other of your personal data.

Jobs published on SUPJOBS may be reposted on third party sites e.g. LinkedIn.

You agree that SUPJOBS may contact you from time to time with proposals for new financial products or of joint marketing.

GENERAL TERMS FOR USE OF THE PLATFORM

  1. You are responsible for your own communications

You are responsible for your own communications, including the transmission, uploading or posting of information and are responsible for the consequences of such communications to the Platform.

We require all Members to agree not to use the Platform, and specifically prohibit any use of the Platform, for any of the following purposes:

  1. Posting, communicating or transmitting any material that infringes on any intellectual property, publicity or privacy right of another person or entity
  2. Posting any information which is untrue, inaccurate or not your own
  3. Engaging in conduct that would constitute a criminal offense or give rise to civil liability or otherwise violate any law or regulation
  4. Attempting to interfere in any way with the Platform’s or SUPJOBS’s network security, or attempting to use the Platform’s service to gain unauthorized access to any other computer system

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password.

You agree to notify us promptly in the event of any unauthorized use of your account or other breach of security.

  1. Registration

If registration for use of a Service on the Platform is required, you agree to (1) provide true, accurate, current, and complete information about yourself as prompted by the Services’ registration form (“Registration Data”), and (2) maintain and promptly update the registration data to keep it true, accurate, current and complete. We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to accept or reject your registration to use our Platform. If your registration is accepted, you may use the Platform. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. If you provide any content that is untrue, inaccurate, not current, or incomplete, or SUPJOBS has reasonable grounds to suspect that such content is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, SUPJOBS has the right to suspend or terminate your account and refuse any and all current or future use of the Platform. You agree not to create an account using a false identity or information, or on behalf of someone other than yourself. You agree that you shall not have more than one account. You agree not to create an account or use the Platform if SUPJOBS has closed your account previously, or if we have previously expelled you from the Platform or Services.

In order to use SUPJOBS as an employer you must also register. Registration is free. When registering we may ask you for additional information related to your company and the types of Prospective Employees you are looking for. We may also allow you to use a third party service such as an Angellist to register. We will review the information that you provided to us during the registration process and any other information that is publicly available. We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to accept or reject your registration to use our Platform. If your registration is accepted, you may engage with prospective employees that have expressed an interest in your company or job ad on SUPJOBS. It is your responsibility to abide by all applicable law when using the Platform, including data protection regulation.

We reserve the right to reject or terminate your registration if your business does not live up to internationally recognized norms and standards for human rights, arms, working conditions, the environment and anti-corruption.

  1. Additional Terms and Conditions

You agree that additional terms and conditions may apply to specific products, services, or your use of certain portions of the Platform (“Additional Terms”), which Additional Terms form part of these Terms by reference.   1. Product and Services Information; Limitations on Access

Excluding any contents submitted by users from time to time, we strive to ensure that the information on the Platform is complete and reliable. Certain information may contain errors, including pricing errors, typographical errors and other errors or inaccuracies, which we may correct without liability. We also reserve the right to limit access to portions of the Platform for Members and to revise, suspend, or terminate an event or promotion at any time without notice. We do not guarantee that all products or services described on our Platform will be available.

  1. Proprietary Rights

SUPJOBS is responsible for material published on the Platform. SUPJOBS and its licensors reserve all rights to ownership, copyright, trademarks and all other intellectual property rights relating to the SUPJOBS and the Platform and to products and Services mentioned or on the Platform, except as specifically set out in these Terms.

As a user of this Platform, you may view and print the contents mentioned above for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not otherwise copy, save or otherwise reproduce, adapt, modify, transfer, assign, use or exploit the contents or parts thereof without our prior written consent.

SUPJOBS does not claim ownership of any materials you make available through the Platform. With respect to any materials you submit or make available for inclusion on the Platform, you grant SUPJOBS a perpetual, irrevocable, non-terminable, worldwide, royalty-free and non-exclusive license to use, copy, distribute, publicly display, modify and create derivative works of such materials or any part of such materials for use on and in connection with SUPJOBS in the Nordic countries. You hereby represent that you hold good and proper rights to any materials (including, but not limited to, text, images, music or video) which you provide to SUPJOBS and the Platform. You further represent that any materials you provide will not contain libellous or otherwise unlawful, abusive or obscene material. SUPJOBS will be entitled to use any content submitted by you without incurring obligations of confidentiality, attribution or compensation to you.

You assume all responsibility and risk with respect to your use of the Platform.

THE PLATFORM, AND ALL CONTENTS, AND OTHER INFORMATION ON OR ACCESSIBLE FROM OR THROUGH THIS PLATFORM OR A “LINKED” PLATFORM ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, SECURITY OR ACCURACY. Hyperlinks are included solely for your convenience, and SUPJOBS makes no representations or warranties with regard to the accuracy, availability, suitability or safety of information provided in such non-SUPJOBS platforms. SUPJOBS does not endorse, warrant or guarantee any products or services offered or provided by or on behalf of third parties on the Platform.

  1. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, hold harmless, and defend SUPJOBS, their parents, subsidiaries, divisions, and affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents and affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, costs and expenses of defence, including attorneys’ fees, in any way arising from or related to your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms or the Privacy Policy, content posted to the Platform by you, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

  1. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL SUPJOBS, THEIR AFFLIATES OR ANY OF THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, SUCCESSORS, SUBSIDIARIES, SUPPLIERS, AFFILIATES, OR THIRD PARTIES PROVIDING INFORMATION ON THIS PLATFORM BE LIABLE TO ANY USER OF THE PLATFORM OR ANY OTHER PERSON OR ENTITY FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE, CONSEQUENTIAL OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, OR LOSS OF USE) ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE PLATFORM, WHETHER BASED UPON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF SUPJOBS HAS BEEN ADVISED OF OR SHOULD HAVE KNOWN OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES OR LOSSES.   1. International Use

SUPJOBS is controlled and operated from Ireland. We make no representation that materials on the Platform are appropriate or available for use outside of Ireland. If you choose to access this Platform from outside Ireland you do so at your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws, if and to the extent local laws are applicable.

  1. 3rd Party applications

Within the Platform, there may be links to third party web-platforms, services, or other activities that are not controlled or owned by SUPJOBS. Links to third party Platforms are included as a convenience to users.

  1. Intellectual Property Rights Infringements; Notice and Take Down Procedures
